How It Works

  1. Describe the macro you want, or reference an existing macro if you need a tweak, enhancement, or combination of existing behavior.
  2. Upload screenshots or OneNote files only if they are helpful; they are optional for the initial request.
  3. We review the request, confirm feasibility, and recommend the right service tier.
  4. We track status, files, and the approved specification on your account page while most discussion can continue by email.
  5. Once the scope is approved and purchased, we build and deliver the macro or requested modification.
  6. You can test the result and request one revision round if needed.

Uploaded materials may be reviewed by Onetastic staff and may be analyzed with AI-assisted tools for feasibility review, requirements extraction, specification drafting, macro development, and testing.

Custom Macro Service Terms & Conditions

Review and Feasibility

All custom macro requests are reviewed before work begins. We may decline requests that are not technically feasible, are outside the capabilities of Onetastic, or would require a different engagement structure.

Scope Definition

Before development begins, we will confirm the requested functionality and assign the request to the appropriate service tier. The delivered macro or modification will implement the approved scope for that request.

Revisions

Each custom macro includes one revision round within 30 days of delivery. Revisions are intended to correct misunderstandings or make minor adjustments to the agreed specification.

After the revision period, additional modifications may be purchased as a Macro Tweak, Macro Enhancement, or a new Custom Macro project depending on the scope.

Classification

Some requests start as a tweak or enhancement but may require substantial redevelopment or significant new functionality. In those cases, we may reclassify the request as a new Custom Macro project before work begins.

If a requested change appears broadly useful to many customers, we may decide to add it to the public version of the macro instead of delivering it as a private custom macro.

Delivery

Custom macros are typically delivered through a private Macroland listing associated with your account.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing a clear description of the desired functionality, supplying supporting files or screenshots when requested, and reviewing the approved specification before development proceeds.

Uploaded Content and Privacy

Uploaded notebooks, screenshots, and supporting files are stored privately for request review and fulfillment. Please do not upload unnecessary sensitive or confidential information.

Uploaded materials may be reviewed by Onetastic staff and may be analyzed with AI-assisted tools for feasibility review, requirements extraction, specification drafting, macro development, and testing. See our Privacy Policy for additional information.

Compatibility

Custom macros are developed and tested using supported versions of Onetastic and Microsoft OneNote. Future changes to OneNote, Onetastic, or your environment may affect macro behavior.

Ownership and Reuse

Unless otherwise agreed, Onetastic retains ownership of the macro source code and related intellectual property. We may reuse generic techniques, helper logic, and learnings developed during the project. Customers receive a perpetual right to use delivered macros under their Onetastic license.

Refunds

Because custom macros are developed specifically for an individual customer, purchases are generally non-refundable once development has started. If a request is determined to be infeasible before work begins, no development charge will be incurred.

Support Window

Delivery-related support is provided for 30 days following delivery. Requests received after that window may require a new service purchase.

License Requirements

An appropriate Onetastic license is required to import and use custom macros.
